One night, during a thunderstorm that knocked out power for six blocks, LD’s Zenith stayed on. Not on battery—on nothing . The screen glowed a deep, bruised violet, and then the static resolved into an image. It was a room. Not his living room. A different living room. The furniture was wrong—angles that didn't obey Euclidean rules, colors that shifted when you didn't look directly at them. And in the center of the room, a figure sat in an armchair made of light.
