Hichki tells the inspiring story of Naina Mathur (Rani Mukerji), a woman who suffers from Tourette’s Syndrome — a neurological disorder that causes her to make involuntary sounds (hics, barks, or jerky movements). Despite facing rejection from multiple schools due to her condition, she finally lands a job as a teacher at her alma mater, St. Notker’s School.
